After a delicious meal, an espresso often rounds off the experience. But especially in summer, a refreshing drink is often more appealing than a hot coffee. The ideal solution: combine the two and conjure up a delicious espresso martini!


Ingredients

  • 16 cl vodka 0421
  • 4 cl Piekfeiner coffee-whisky liqueur
  • 10 cl freshly brewed and cooled coffee
  • 3 coffee beans

Preparation

  1. prepare fresh espresso and leave to cool.
  2. fill a shaker with ice cubes and add the coffee liqueur, vodka and cooled espresso. Shake vigorously.
  3. pre-chill the martini glass with ice cubes.
  4. Strain the espresso martini through a sieve into the chilled tumbler glass.
  5. Top the foam with 3 coffee beans. The 3 coffee beans are said to symbolise love, health and happiness.
