The Coffee Negroni is an exciting variation on the classic Negroni cocktail, in which the distinctive bitterness of the original is refined with a delicious blend of coffee and orange flavours. This coffee cocktail is a real treat for discerning connoisseurs and is ideal for fans of coffee and cocktails alike.


Ingredients

  • 3 cl Triple Peak brown label gin
  • 3 cl Piekfeiner coffee whisky liqueur
  • 3 cl red vermouth
  • 3 cl freshly brewed and cooled coffee
  • Orange peel

Preparation

  1. Prepare fresh coffee and leave to cool.
  2. fill a shaker with ice cubes and add the coffee liqueur, gin, red vermouth and the cooled coffee. Shake vigorously.
  3. Pre-chill the tumbler glass with ice cubes.
  4. Strain the Coffee Negroni through a sieve into the chilled tumbler glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange peel or slice of orange to emphasise the orange flavour.
