A sour is probably the most grateful drink of all. It consists of only three ingredients. The combination of aromatic alcohol, lemon and sugar is the prototype of an excellent drink. With whiskey, it becomes the classic drink par excellence.

Ingredients

  • 6 cl single malt whisky
  • 2 cl lemon juice
  • 2 cl sugar syrup

Preparation

  1. Pour all ingredients into a shaker and add some ice.
  2. After shaking, strain into a tumbler with ice.
  3. Garnish with orange zest.
