Description
Some love them, others leave them in the fruit jelly pack until the end: Sure, we're talking about licorice! With our North German anise liqueur made from anise and star anise, licorice lovers now get their money's worth. The sweet licorice-like taste gives the special touch. If you serve anise liqueur with fresh coffee beans and chew them while drinking, a pleasantly bitter contrast joins the sweetness of the anise liqueur.
Sensory description
- The scent of licorice candy cane is present in the nose, while the fresh and spicy taste is on the tongue, also with a hint of licorice.
Production
We produce our anise liqueur from roasted anise and star anise seeds. Infused in alcohol and mixed with sugar, this creates a delicious anise liqueur. The coffee beans in our anise liqueur come from the espresso coffee "Hansebrand" from the Bremen coffee roastery Union Kaffee.
