Description
The black autumn truffle Uncinato belongs to the same family as the summer truffle, but its fragrance is much stronger.
It is black on the outside, but hazelnut-coloured on the inside. Our truffle comes from Campania Lazio.
Sensory description
- Subtle mushroom flavor combined with a hint of foie gras.
Production
The carefully cleaned truffles are individually shaved into thin slices with a truffle slicer. Macerated in neutral alcohol, they release their flavors excellently. The subsequent gentle distillation results in a fine spirit.
