Triple Peak Gimlet: The cocktail of the private detective Philip Marlowe. The Gimlet had its beginnings in England with the Royal Navi, where it was often drunk in the evening in the tavern. However, the cocktail first became popular when it appeared in books by author Raymond Chandler. The novelist Terry Lenox, who appeared as a client of the private detective Philip Marlowe in various novels and short stories by Chandler, introduced the cocktail beyond the borders of England. In the meantime, the gimlet has become a popular drink worldwide.
