Fizz drinks are shaken sours that are infused with a little soda water. Shaking vigorously and the carbonation gives the drink its familiar frothy head.

Ingredients

  • 4 cl Gin Triple Peak yellow label
  • 3 cl lemon juice
  • 2 cl sugar syrup
  • Soda water

Preparation

  1. Pour gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup together with some ice into a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously so that the cocktail gets good air and then strain into a highball glass.
  3. Fill the glass with soda water so that a foam crown is formed.
  4. Finally, garnish with a lemon zest.
